
| 作者简介:BILL CARRUTHERS was born in Glasgow. He won a bursary to Glasgow Uni- versity, where he graduated with a first-class honours degree in 1946 and a Ph.D. in 1949. He moved to Exeter in 1956, working first for the Medical Research Council and then, from 1968, as a lecturer then senior lecturer at the Department of Chemistry in the University of Exeter. He died in April 1990, just a few months before he was due to retire. |
