Carter Goodrich is an acclaimed illustrator whose work has been appearing for years in magazines like The NewYorker and The Atlantic Monthtly.

His animation work includes Brave, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., The Prince of Egypt, and Shrek. His previous picture books include A Creature Was Stirring, The Hermit Crab, and Say Hello to Zorro! He lives in Los Angeles.
