| 巴尔塔沙·格拉西安（1601-1658）出生于西班牙阿拉贡贝尔蒙特村，青少年时期在托雷多和萨拉戈萨学习哲学和文学，18岁加入耶稣会，曾担任过军中神父、告解神父、宣教师、教授、耶稣会学院院长。1637年出版第一部作品《英雄》，1640年出版《政治家》。这两部书主要论述政治领袖的理想品质，也是他1647年出版《智慧书》的思想根源。1651至U1657年，他先后出版了讽刺巨著《批评大师》三卷本。后来，他被放逐到一个乡下小镇，1658年在此去世。 |
