| 何其莘（1947.7- ），男，汉族，广东大埔人，中共党员，教授，博士生导师。1975年毕业于西安外国语学院，后留校任教，1980年为讲师。1981年自费赴美国攻读研究生学位，1984年在阿克伦大学英语系获硕士学位，1986年在肯特州立大学获英美文学博士学位，主攻方向为英国文艺复兴时期文学、英国戏剧和莎士比亚。1986年底返回西安外国语学院任教，1987年晋升为副教授，1988年为教授，曾任英语系系主任。1990年调到北京外国语学院英语系任教，1993年被国务院学位委员会确认为博士生导师。曾任英语系系主任、外国文学研究所副所长，1994年起任北京外国语大学副校长。现为北京外国语大学教授、博士生导师；1989年获优秀教学成果奖陕西省一等奖，被评为全国教育战线劳动模范，被授予“人民教师”勋章，1996年被评为国家级有突出贡献的中青年专家。研究方向为英国文艺复兴时期文学，英国戏剧和莎士比亚。主要著作有《英国戏剧选读》、《英国戏剧史》、Listen To This《英语听力教程》（1-6册，主编）、《英国文艺复兴时期文学史》（与王佐良合著）、《新概念英语》（新版：1-10册，与亚历山大合著）、《特罗伊罗斯和克莉西达》（前言和注释）、《飘》（前言和注释）、《儿子与情人》（前言与注释）、《印度之行》（前言和注释）、《双城记》（前言与注释）、“外国文学”《人文社会科学研究现状与发展趋势--高校“九五“科研规划咨询报告选》。主要科研项目有“英国戏剧的流变”（中华社科基金项目）、“英国文学史-五卷集”（国家重点社科项目）、“北京外国语大学外国文学研究丛书”（校级科研项目）、“高校‘十五’科研规划：外国文学”（教育部专项课题）。于1992年享受政府特殊津贴。 |
