Wrong attitude First, my attitude was not the best. I lived in Sun Valley, Idaho, one of the Alpine ski capitals of the world, and looked with almost disdain at this so-called sport that had little old ladies shuffling across the golf course. None of that stuff for me. I was too intent on learning the more daring, exciting, and, looking back, almost suicidal downhill skiing.
