| Harry J. Huang, also known as Freeman J. Wong, was born in China and currently lives in Toronto. He has authored 130 short short stories published in three collections entitled Nothing Comes of Nothing; Morality, Eh?; and A Bride in Washington. He has also published five textbooks, including Essential College Writing Skills and Refining the Sentence. He has been teaching the Chinese short short story at Seneca College for many years. He has translated more than 100 Chinese authors' short short stories including those collected in this anthology, as well as other literary works. His translation A Cultural Tour Across China published in 1993 was very well-eceived. His translation criterion has influenced many students and translators. |
