Set in early nineteenth-century Paris, Cousin Bette is the sexy yet compassionate story of the exploits of the aristocratic Hulot family and their poor but honorable cousin. Baroness Adeline Hulot's dying wish is that her sister, Bette, take care of her husband, Baron Hector Hulot, and her children.
