My life has been graced by a steady stream of extraordi-
nary souls in ordinary clothes. Take my wife Leti and our
son Jonah， for instance. The privilege of sauntering
through life arm-in*arm with those two buckaroos is a gift
like no other， To them and to whoever arranged it， I owe
a \"thanks\" way too big for the word. And there s my
friend and assistant Mary ]urin Sonkin. I appreciate the
way Mary takes my work seriously and me with a grain
of salt. It s a hard line to walk sometimes. And thanks to
