| YOshitaka Amano was born in 1952in Shizuoka City Japan He designed characters and concepts for popular anime series such as G-Force and computer games such as Final Fantasy He is also the illustrator for sicence-fiction and fantasy stories including Neil Gaiman s award-winning The Sandman:the Drean Hunters In 1991 he began producing lithographs and held his first lithograph exhibition in Japan in 1994Since then his lithogtaphs have been exhibited in London Paris Cologne Lyon and Cavalire With active Lithograph production studios in Pari and New York Yoshirtaka Amano continues his printmaking work as well as a variery of other illustration and artistic projects. |
