Professional Communication II

　　本教材有如下几个方面的特点：
　　融入先进的外语教学理念。以学生为中心，以内容为导向，任务式推进，相对集中，自然融合是我们编写本教材的基本理念。在主导方向上，教材采用基于任务活动的交际教学法，使语言学习与语言运用相结合，强调尽量通过实际使用语言来培养真正的语言能力。
　　根据IT业的特点，本教材在内容上主要由两大方面构成，即日常交际活动和IT科普。在对各项语言技能教学的处理上，我们则根据中国学生的特点，适度地采取了阶段性目标训练的方式，使教学更有效率。
　　三大着力点。：一是学以致用，学用结合。；二是充分考虑IT高职学生实际状况和需要。；三是使先进的教学理念与国情有机地结合。
　　本教材分为（I）和（II）两册，各由10个单元组成。每个单元4课，分别为Presentation, Reading, Listening and Speaking,和 Writing and Grammar。
　　本教材可用作高职高专院校IT类专业一年级学生的英语教材，也可用作其他相应水平学生学习英语的教材或教辅。
