Applying an International Human Rights Framework to State Budget Allocations: Rights and Resources

Professor Colin Harvey is Head of the Law School at Queen's University Belfast. From 2005-2008 he was the Director of the Human Rights Centre. In 2010, he was elected to the Senate of Queen's for a three-year period. Dr Rory O'Connell is a Senior Lecturer at Queen's University of Belfast. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of human rights, equality and constitutional law. Dr Aoife Nolan is Senior Lecturer in Law at Durham University Law School. She has published extensively in the areas of human rights, particularly in relation to economic and social rights and children's rights. Eoin Rooney is a Research Officer with the Northern Ireland Council for Ethnic Minorities and a Research Assistant on the project. Mira Dutschke is a Senior Program Officer at the Open Society Foundation in Cape Town, South Africa. She has published and contributed to a range of publications in the field of economic, social and cultural rights as well as children's rights.
