中西方翻译历史中的对等：论争与出路

     仝品生编著的《中西方翻译历史中的对等》通过对中西方历史中各种翻译理论对对等翻译概念的梳理，找出对等翻译在两种文化背景下衍生出的共性与差异，从而阐释对等翻译论争的本质，为之后尝试性的解决办法构建一个相对坚实的基础，同时阐发了对等在翻译历史中的重要性和意义。

     在中西方翻译的历史中，“对等”是一个核心的概念，它的发生、发展和变化直接反映并诠释两种文化背景中不同的翻译本质和思维范式。也正是在漫长的历史中对对等翻译的追求，才推动了中西方翻译实践和理论的发展和衍变。仝品生编著的《中西方翻译历史中的对等》通过对中西方翻译历史中各种对等翻译概念的梳理，分析对等翻译折射出的文化共性与差异，《中西方翻译历史中的对等》阐发了对等在翻译历史中的重要意义。中西方翻译历史中的对等几乎都是从相对机械、理想主义的发端逐渐走向功能、接受美学视阈中的追求，从实践与理论争论走向专业化的科学或艺术，从一种学科领域衍射到政治、经济、社会和文化等。作为语言文化交际的过程，翻译是语言内外语境中各种要素相互作用下为满足传播与通达的最终产物，是一种目的性选择的实现。这一过程中，一方面是两种语言文化的互动；另一方面是语言文化相互融会、补充并逐渐走向共通。而且，随着这种共识的增强，语言文化中的差异性或缺失得到应有的认知，相互理解增强，最终在翻译中实现相互适应的意图对等。
    

     仝品生，曲靖师范学院外国语学院副教授，博士。1997年毕业于云南师范大学外国语学院英语教育专业；2003年至2006年在云南师范大学攻读英语语言学与翻译理论方向硕士，获文学硕士学位，分配到曲靖师范学院外国语学院任教；2007年至2010年在中国社会科学院研究生院攻读并获得文化学方向博士学位。主要研究领域为语言学、文化学。主持或参与省厅级和校级科研项目3项，参编教材1部，主编论文集1部，在国内外学术期刊上发表论文20余篇。
