During a game of hide-and-seek, Moon hides behind a cloud, leaving his friend Bear very worried.

Bear's delight in a game of hide-and-seek with the moon turns to despair when he fears his friend is lost for good. Ages 4-8.

Frank Asch has written and illustrated nearly sixty children's books, including picture books, poetry, and novels. He is the author of the first book in the Class Pets series, The Ghost of P.S. 42, and is perhaps best known as the creator of the Moonbear series. He performs puppet shows for home-schooled children in his hometown of Middletown Springs, Vermont.
