Corvette Racing: Six Generations from Sebring to Le Mans

The Corvette is one of the most recognized sports cars in the world. For more than 50 years, Corvettes have been favorites for fans and drivers in a wide variety of racing venues, including endurance, hillclimbs, Trans-Am, and GT. Corvettes have raced on all of the world's major road courses, including Le Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nürburgring, Sebring, and Laguna Seca.

Beginning with The Real McCoy, a Duntov special raced at Sebring in 1956, this book will draw on the history of factory-sponsored and private racing efforts, chronicling the history of various factory-produced models that have been put to the test as racing machines. The book will consist primarily of historical images with a minimum of contemporary artist–shot photography that chronicles the car’s 50-plus years of racing history.
