Madeline Schwartzman’s is a New York filmmaker and architect. A Yale School of Architecture graduate, her multi-disciplinary practice combines architecture, film/video and writing and holds long term teaching positions at Columbia University and Parsons: The New School For Design. Her previous short works have screened at festivals both in the US and abroad.
She has received grants in various disciplines, including a residency in architecture at the American Academy in Rome (1988), an Artist's Grant in Sculpture from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts (1989), a Film Production grant from the New School for Social Research (1993), and a sabbatical from Parsons (1997) for the post-production of APHRODISIAC.
