A stunning collection of photographs immortalizing one of the most ambitious efforts at historic preservation ever undertaken. In the 1970s, Adelaide de Menil and Ted Carpenter began acquiring, restoring, and moving to their East Hampton property historically significant buildings of Long Island. Four decades later the eighteen buildings were moved several miles away, where architect Robert A. M.
