| 周学艺，男，江苏丹阳人，1935年生。1958年考入北京大学西方语言文学系，攻读英国语言文学。1963年毕业后，先后从事外事和英语教学工作，曾任北京大学英语系副教授，在北大、清华讲授过美英报刊文章选读等课程。1981-1983年在美国佛罗里达州立大学从事英美文学、美国历史和外交史的学习和研究。1989-1990年曾在纽约担任法庭翻译等工作。1990年底回国后任职于北京大学出版社。退休前为出版社教授级编审和外语编辑室副主任。主要成果为普及英文报刊阅读，他自1987年起至今完成了编著美英报刊系列教材和参考书。它们是：1.《美英报刊导读》2.《当代英汉美英报刊词典》3.大学美英报刊教材系列（共19本）此外，与他人合作译、编的书有：1.《沃尔特斯回忆录》2.《联邦调查局破案秘闻》3.《马科斯夫人秘闻》4.《最新高级英汉词典》5.《英汉词海》 |
