| 本名录共包括了4纲29目357科2681属8385种。在编排上按照泛六足类4纲系统。近些年，分类学发展较快，特别是高级阶元的系统发育研究成果不断，对科级阶元的冲击较大，厘定工作任务很重。我们还是坚持对目下各科均按照最新研究成果予以纠正和调整，所以，仍然会出现一些种类发表时所在的种与本书中不一致的问题。体例上同第1卷，原则上名录中科下不设亚科，但在本卷中，根据读者意见，叶蝉科增加了亚科。科下各属及属内各种均按照字母顺序排列。本卷大量的来自综合考察报告及系列出版物，一本书中包括诸多类群及作者，我们对每一位作者在每一本书中所写类群或独立的章节均在参考文献中一一列出，以便读者查阅。 |
