We got the call everyone dreams of - the New Yorker wanted to feature me and my sisters on its front cover. Then that photograph was splashed all over Times Square. Overnight our lives changed. Some things were amazing. The parties, the designer clothes (free, of course), having people do your hair-every day. And
I can't lie - the attention was great too. But some things really sucked. Everyone has an agenda and you don't know who to trust.You're chased everywhere by men with cameras desperate to get a photo of you looking out of it.You're drooled over by men old enough to be your father (which apparently is ok because they are mega-important-filmstars). And sometimes all you want is to hide until it all goes away. |
