MARY HIGGINS CLARK is the author of twenty-nine suspense novels; three collections of short stories; a historical novel, and a memoir. She is the co-author with her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark, of five holiday suspense novels. Jan Maxwell has appeared on Broadway in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Dinner Party, The Sound of Music, A Doll's House, Dancing At Lughnasa, and City of Angels. On television she has been seen in numerous Law & Order episodes.
