Sam Foster is six foot four, has learned how to Slouch to make himself appear more inconspicuous and draw less attention to himself. Sam is a talented drummer with his band ADHD. Sam is trying to figure out how to reach the levels of maturity that his parents hold out for him. He has to deal with his anarchistic girlfriend, Martha, who loves breaking rules, as well as managing issues with alcohol, driving permits, and earning the trust of his parents when they leave him alone with his friend Darryl for a weekend. Sam’s worst fear is letting people down. By the end, Sam has learned that he and his girlfriend aren’t suited for one another, and that adults aren’t as a mature as they let on.
