In 2010, Vancouver and Whistler will host 17 days of Olympic Winter Games competition (February 12 to 28). A torch relay will precede the Games, culminating in the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron on February 12, 2010. As the flame makes its way around Canada for the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, more than 12,000 people will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be part of history by carrying the flame as it journeys to Vancouver.
