With engineering chemistry as the main direction of research, the Institute is oriented to the application of multi-phase chemical reaction and separation technology to key problems in the fields of biotechnology, materials, energy, resources and environmental protection, with the objective of developing and commercializing new materials, new technologies and new equipment.
This book is the tenth volume of SELECTED PAPERS OF EC&M (China) which was first published in 1989. This volume contains part of the latest research achievements made by the Chinese scientists and engineers in the above-mentioned fields. It is sincerely hoped that the publication of this book would be helpful to the international development of the engineering chemistry discipline and beneficial to its application to the national economy, and enhance the academic exchange and understanding between scientists and engineers both at home and abroad.
