| 格勒，藏族，四川甘孜藏族自治州甘孜县人，生于1950年5月。新中国培养的第一位人类学博士和第一位藏族博士。现为中国藏学研究中心副总干事、研究员。同时也是美国加州大学客座教授，中央民族大学、西南民族大学客座博士生导师，国际知名藏学家、人类学家。主要从事藏族社会文化、中国少数民族文化、民族理论、族群关系等课题的学术研究。除大量学术专著外，还出版了学术随笔《月亮西沉的地方——对西藏阿里人类学田野考察侧记》等散文类作品。
