| 罗伯特·费尔德曼是马萨诸塞大学心理系的教授。作为学院杰出教师奖的获得者，他也在芒特霍尤克学院(Mount Holyoke College)，韦斯利恩大学(Wesleyan University)和弗吉尼亚州立大学(Virginia Commonwealth University)教授心理学课程。
作为本科生学习的负责人,2费尔德曼教授发起了少数学生督导项目(Minority Mentoring Program)，同时，他也在天才促进项目(Talent Advancement Program)中教授心理学导论。费尔德曼教授还频繁地做有关教学技术运用的讲座。 费尔德曼教授从韦斯利恩大学获得学士学位，从威斯康辛大学获得硕士和博士学位。他撰写了100多本著作、章节以及科学论文。其中一些(《非言语行为基础》、《儿童非言语行为发展》、《社会心理学》、《发展心理学》和《P.O.W.E.R.学习》)被译成了多种文字(西班牙语、法语、汉语以及阿拉伯语等)。他的研究兴趣着重于诚实和欺骗行为，以及印象管理中非言语行为的运用。 闲暇时，费尔德曼教授喜欢烹饪和弹钢琴。他的妻子也是个心理学家，他们共同抚养了三个孩子。 |
