内容简介

故事的起因是1866年在海上出现了一头大“海怪”，并有船只遇袭。博物学家阿龙纳斯教授应邀参加了追捕“海怪”的行动。但是他们的战舰遭精通了“海怪”的凶猛反击，教授和两位同伴落水，反被“海怪”所救。此后三人便跟随“海怪”周游四海，一同领略海底世界的神奇和美丽；而他们所经历的同鲨鱼博斗、冰山封路、章鱼袭击等众多险情更是悬念迭生、惊心动魄。

作者简介

儒勒·凡尔纳 Jules Verne(1828-1905)，儒勒·凡尔纳是法国科幻小说家，被誉为“科幻和探险小说之父”。他创作了一系列科学幻想冒险小说，内容包罗万象，从地球到宇宙空间，从地质、地理到航海、航天。他的作品文笔细腻，构思奇巧，情节曲折，结局出人意料，其中很多幻想都以科学知识为依据，许多在当时被认为是不可思议的科学预见，如今都已经实现。
