| 魏尚进，男，加州大学伯克利分校经济学博士以及管理学硕士，宾夕法尼亚州立大学经济学硕士，复旦大学世界经济系学士。现任哈佛大学肯尼迪行政学院副教授，兼任（美国）国家经济研究局研究员，联邦储备银行旧金山分行亚太地区货币与经济研究中心研究员，密歇根大学管理学院戴维森研究所研究员及清华大学经济研究中心研究员，欧洲经济政策研究中心研究员。从1999年7月起，受聘为世界银行问题专家顾问，同时兼任布鲁金斯学会新世纪荣誉座高级研究员，亦为布鲁金斯学会第一位华裔高级研究员。曾担任国际货币基金组织，联邦储备系统华盛顿总部及旧金山分行、亚洲开发银行、经济合作和发展组织与联合国开发顾问，以及中欧大学客座教授。研究与教学领域包括宏观经济、国际金融、国际贸易、资本市场及亚太经济。学术论文发表于“经济学季刊”、“发展经济学杂志”、“美国经济评论”、“经济学与统计学评论”、“欧洲经济评论”和“加拿大经济学杂志”等多种国际学术杂志。关于中国经济开放的一篇论文获得1998年中国留美经济学会一等奖。
