实用阶梯英语(全三册)/21世纪高职高专教材

　　本书为21世纪高职高专教材，分3册。本书内容涵盖基础英语及中医学专业英语。第1册主要内容包括人物情景对话及基础英语阅读，语法涉及的是词性及各种时态；特点是注重基础英语的读写及应用。第2册主要内容包括语言文化、社会风俗、地理风貌、人际关系等内容的短文阅读，语法涉及词性、语序、语态及从句等；特点是注重加强英语的实际应用能力。第3册目的是给同学们提供提高英语综合应用水平的机会。
　　本书分为10个单元，均为涉及医学各科知识的文章。内容包括保健护理、中医基础知识、中药知识、针灸推拿知识、医药信息、常见疾病等。
　　每一单元包括课文a(texta)、课文b(textb)、阅读技能三部分。课文a与b为精读材料，内容广泛，语言真实、规范，并配有相关练习。因此，学习者在阅读理解课文时，应加强对课文内容、课文结构的理解，同时进行词汇的上下文猜测。课后练习针对性强，可以加深对原文的理解和记忆。其他实用练习则加强对本课相关句型、词汇和结构的操练和运用。
　　阅读技能这一项目侧重各种段落类型，理解语篇中的具体信息，如根据上下文猜测词义、理解暗示含义、推理等。每一单元后另配备四篇阅读训练小短文，供学生利用所学的阅读技巧，培养阅读技能，提高阅读速度，增强阅读理解力。一般来说，每一单元的讲解时间约为6学时。本册可在第三学期使用。具体做法参见教师参考书和相关课件。
