| 蔡志忠，1948 年2月2日出生于台湾彰化茄冬。15岁中途辍学后只身到台北，开始连环漫画创作；1971年出任光启社电视美术指导；1977年，白手起家，创立远东卡通公司；1981年，另创龙卡通公司；此间，拍摄了《 七彩卡通老夫子 》，《 乌龙院 》等卡通电影，《 老夫子 》曾获金马奖最佳卡通电影长片奖；1983年，开始在各报刊发表四格漫画作品，并在新加坡、马来西亚、香港、日本的报章长期连载；1984年，自组个人漫画工作室作品；1985年，获选为台湾十大杰出青年；1999年，获荷兰克劳斯王子基金会奖。 |
