| Based on the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center s kid-tested classes and programs, the activities in this book educate children living in densely populated areas about the need to protect wildlife habitats--even in urban environments--for future generations. The Houston center was created with the goal of providing inner-city children with access to a natural forest/field environment.
