| 2006年11月22日至24日，中国人权研究会在北京举办“尊重和促进人权与建设和谐世界”国际研讨会。 与会人士围绕尊重和促进人权与建设和谐社会、和谐世界的研讨会主题进行了讨论，普遍认为，人类历史进入到21世纪，世界面临诸多艰巨挑战，如霸权主义、强权政治、单边主义、恐怖主义、军备竞赛以及南北贫富悬殊、自然环境破坏等，都是对人权的严重危害和破坏，也是造成世界不和谐的主要原因和建设和谐世界的主要障碍等问题。 现将会议收到的论文60篇编辑成书，取名《人权与和谐世界》，内容按主题分为总论和六个部分，供读者阅读学习。 |
