For others it will be the necessary temptation to plan a trip to experience a number of these inns with this volume as their guide. Plan your holiday around the cozy inns that have revealed their special recipes. Stay at cozy hotels and savor a feast of fine foods and wines. Return home to prepare these recipes in your own kitchen, with a comprehension of the grandeur of the environment in which these recipes were created by the masters themselves. The term \"gourmet\" though considered for inclusion in the title of this book, has been omitted as we do not consider ourselves qualified gourmands. We love to travel. We enjoy good food enhanced by its presentation and the atmosphere in which it is served and, although not trained chefs, we also love to cook. From each hotel-restaurant considered we requested that the chef submit a selection of regional specialties prepared in his kitchen; to share the secret behind his creations. Generally we have chosen just one recipe from each hotel, wanting not to be repetitive in selections, and with the desire of presenting you with an interesting and tempting balance of entries.
