| 作者简介： Sara Lieber’s (Cancún and Yucatán chapters) passion for travel writing was first sparked during a solo trip aboard an airplane as a 6-year-old. Since then she has traversed the U.S. twice by car and once on foot, always making sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy the hidden spots along the way. A Pittsburgher by blood and a Californian at heart, Sara recently relocated from the Bay Area to the Big Apple in pursuit of new horizons and has since found an endless supply of sites to explore within the five boroughs. In 2002, she walked 2,186 miles from Georgia to Maine as a thru-hiker on the Appalachian Trail during a semester off from Pomona College, where she received her B.A. in English and Creative Writing. In her spare time she likes to weld steel, cast bronze, and just generally make things out of metal. She currently works as an editorial assistant at Oxford University Press in New York City. |
