| In this book we celebrate motherhood, as well as the many and varied gifts which all women acknowledge and for which they are grateful. As you read and reflect on the many gifts whichyou enjoy in your life, it is my sincere hope that youwill make some exciting and perhaps even beneficialdiscoveries~ It may be that there is something in your life whichyou have not considered a particular blessing, andyou will now see it in a different light. Perhaps youhave received some gifts of which you have beentotally unaware. There may be a gift you have not yetreceived and you wait for it now with anticipation. These writings not only will help women under-stand and appreciate their gifts of life more fully, butalso renew their stirrings of faith~ To know that Godis the author of all our gifts is to know true peace andcontentment. The world gives us things and theworld takes those things from us. Only those giftswhich God bestows on us are lasting. At the sametime, we are again made aware of the most perfectgift, Jesus Christ. If that were the only gift we everreceived in a lifetime, it would be sufficient. |
