| I originally came up with the concept for this book in December 1998. Yes, I know what you are saying, "that s a long time." I have had people tell me that they have produced and filmed motion pictures in the time I have taken to produce this book. My response, "Well, in a movie you have only to deal with two or three celebrities wandering around with their pets." I can also feel the love and see a different side of each person. So, what I wanted to do was to photograph everyone in black and white at home in a very comfortable environment.
