Jill Spealman is a technical writer and instructional designer. Jill is the owner of Wordsmith, Inc., a Chicago-area company that develops training materials. She has authored six training and certification books for Microsoft Press on Microsoft Windows NT® and Windows 2000 and has received national awards for these works from the Society for Technical Communication. Jill has 16 years of experience developing documentation and training, and she has worked for Thomson NETG, Wallace, Waste Management, Rockwell FirstPoint Contact, GAB Robins, and National Move Management.
Kurt Hudson started working with information technology systems in 1989 while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Since 1996, he has been a computer consultant and president of HudLogic, Inc. Kurt has earned many technical ratings, which include: MCSE in Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0+I, and Windows NT 3.51, MCSA, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Security+, Network+, A+, and i-Net+. He also has a graduate degree in business management (Master of Management) from Troy State University. He has contributed to well over 30 commercial books and articles on computer networking and related technical certifications.
