CYNTHIA A. BRANIGAN is a freelance writer and President of Make Peace with Animals, an all-volunteer animal protection group whose special mission is Greyhound adoption. Among the group's special missions are Greyhound rescue and placement. Branigan gives lectures, seminars, and radio and television interviews on the humane treatment of all animals and is recognized as the country's leading expert on the adoption of ex-racing Greyhounds.
