| The Second International Conference on Phenomenology of Unification from Present to Future aimed to review the results obtained and the perspectives for the near future on the unification of the forces and laws of nature. The subjects covered are more frequently presented at different conferences, but they have a common and interesting connection with the possible final goal of unification - in other words, the inclusion of separate theoretical models in a larger theory characterized by new phenomenological expectations to be confirmed by experiment. The main topics of the proceedings are: gauge theories and grand unification; experimental tests of the Standard Model; laboratory tests on cosmological structure formation; CP violation; physics at future accelerators; quantum mechanics foundations and tests with superconducting devices; neutrino oscillations; gravitational wave detection; and general relativity tests. |
