| Burt Prelutsky is a writer with a varied and extensive background. He wrote a humor column for the L.A. Times and book and movie criticism for Los Angeles magazine. On a freelance basis, he has written for the N.Y. Times, Holiday, TV Guide, Modern Maturity, Playgirl and Sports Illustrated. For TV, he has, in addition to several award-winning movies, written episodes of Dragnet, McMillan & Wife, Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, MASH, Bob Newhart, Family Ties, Dr. Quinn and Diagnosis Murder. In 1989, Capra Press published an earlier collection of his humorous essays, "Civilization and Welcome to It". |
