Milan-trained architect Matteo Pericoli fell in love with New York when he moved here in 1995. He credits the city with fueling his considerable imagination. A complement to Pericoli's stunning Manhattan Unfurled, Manhattan Within reveals, once again, Pericoli's genius and originality as he renders, in brilliant color, Manhattan's "inner" skyline - a view of the city from within Central Park looking out - that will involve, among other challenges, sketching hundreds of buildings and more than fifty thousand windows on a continuous thirty-two-foot sheet of paper. The result is an exuberant and unique interpretation of Manhattan.
