| Ten years ago I write my first garden book , Plants Are Like People. It was an increadible success , selling well over a million copies . I wrote the book as result of the fan mail I received from my weekly appearances on Dinah Shore s Tv show , Dinah s Place. as the program s garden expert I approached indoor and outdoor projects with basically the same solutions and treatments as I would use for similar people problems. I still feel that plants are like people and I try hard to treaqt them. some of my best friends grow in my garden. |
