You and your child are about to embark on an exciting adventure，and

Three reading levels allow your child to read at his or her own pace：
Level I encourages children to recognize words and read simple sentences
Level 2 introduces rich vocabulary and longer sentences
Level 3 contains more complex stories，challenging terms，and longer paragraphs
I invite you to read the stories to your child，read the stories with your
child，and listen as your child learns to read independently．One of the most
important gifts you can give a child is the opportunity to read Wlth that
